I am Marie Janssens, a Master Graphic Design 2020 graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, BE Antwerp.
With my passion for editing, interaction, image and text, I work both digitally and manually, on commission but also in my own work. I apply the diverse design tools I developed during my studies in my designs. My individuality in design is marked by exploring the boundaries within graphic design. Which disciplines within the visual arts can I use to achieve an original result is the main question during my work process.
I like to be inspired by different forms of art. I always find it fascinating to look for different aesthetic elements that I can use when creating graphic work, both within and outside the visual arts. In my work I allow my passions for: ecology, cartoons and design to speak in a thoughtful and subtle way.
